When the world changes – what does it mean for business?
How are small and medium-sized enterprises affected by an increasingly uncertain global environment? That was the key question when RUFFS hosted a lunch seminar in Luleå on 27 March, an event that attracted strong interest and engagement.
Tobhias Wikström, CEO of Parachute Consulting, delivered a timely and accessible outlook on how global developments are shaping everyday business conditions. Using concrete examples, he linked security policy and geopolitics to business decisions, markets, and future opportunities for companies in the steel industry value chain.
The discussions continued after the presentation. Over lunch, participants exchanged experiences and talked about how current developments are affecting their own businesses, as well as the strategic choices companies face in a time of rapid change.
After the seminar, participants were also invited to join a guided tour of the Adult Education Centre’s new industrial training facilities. The tour provided a clear picture of how education and skills development can help ensure access to the right competence for companies – both in the short and long term.
