RUFFS Visits Malå
RUFFS recently visited Malå for a day focused on skills development, industry needs and new business connections.
We received a warm welcome from Aleksandra Simanovskaya and Rehan Lothian Kahn, who gave us the opportunity to meet the local business community and get to know some of the companies in Malå more closely.
The day began with the Gomorron Malå business breakfast, under the theme Meeting place for industry and suppliers. We presented the educational opportunities offered by Luleå University of Technology through the Västerbottens Hållbara Omställning (VHO) and RUFFS projects. The event also provided a great opportunity to speak directly with companies about their skills development needs and the opportunities available through the projects.
After the business breakfast, the day continued with company visits. At ImpulseRadar, we met Production Manager Gunilla Höglund, who gave us a tour of the facilities and an interesting insight into the company and its operations.
We also visited Hultdins, where CEO Tobias Åman introduced us to the company and its operations. The visits provided valuable perspectives and opportunities to continue the dialogue on business development and future skills needs.
We came away from the day with a very positive impression and, above all, many valuable meetings and new connections.
A big thank you to Aleksandra Simanovskaya and Rehan Lothian Kahn for the warm welcome, and to all the companies we had the opportunity to meet. Until next time, Malå!
