RUFFS participated in the conference Future Skills Supply
On 17–18 March, RUFFS participated in the conference Future Skills Supply, organised by Utveckla Norrbotten in Luleå. The conference brought together stakeholders from business, the public sector and the education system to take part in the latest mapping of the county’s skills needs and to discuss ways forward.
During the conference, a clear snapshot of the current skills situation in Norrbotten was presented. One key insight was that the region is facing a recruitment need of approximately 8,500 people over the next two years, while the demand for skills development is also significant.
For RUFFS, the conference provided valuable insights into what is happening in the region right now – and what lies ahead. These insights strengthen our continued work to support collaboration and initiatives that respond to companies’ needs during the ongoing transition.
