RUFFS present as future hydrogen systems were discussed
On June 2, RUFFS participated in the conference Hydrogen of World-Class for Northern Sweden in Skelleftehamn – a full-day event focused on how hydrogen can contribute to robust energy systems, strengthened competitiveness, and an accelerated climate transition.
The event brought together companies, researchers, and public sector representatives to discuss everything from strategic direction to concrete technical solutions. During the day, ongoing initiatives were presented, including fossil-free steel production, hydrogen-based fuels for aviation and shipping, and the development of infrastructure for hydrogen production, storage, and distribution.
A key focus was collaboration – how industry, academia, and society can jointly create the conditions for a growing hydrogen economy. Small and medium-sized enterprises were highlighted as an important part of the transition, both as suppliers and as actors in emerging value chains.
For RUFFS, participating provides an opportunity to capture competence needs and development challenges directly from the initiatives now taking shape in northern Sweden. These insights are valuable for designing training efforts that meet the needs of industry during the ongoing transition.
Are you active in a small or medium-sized company and interested in learning more about how RUFFS can support your business? Feel free to get in touch – we are happy to start a dialogue based on your needs.
