Member companies gathered for lunch on employment law and skills
On 15 April, a business lunch was held at Rosforsgrillen for members of Företagarna Norrbotten, focusing on employer responsibility and future skills needs. The lunch was arranged together with RUFFS and was aimed especially at small and medium-sized companies with links to industry.
During the lunch, Lise-Lotte Argulander, employment law expert at Företagarna, shared concrete and practical advice for employers. She highlighted common pitfalls related to issues such as dismissal on personal grounds, long-term sick leave, rehabilitation responsibility, and working hours – topics that are often particularly challenging for smaller companies.
Participants also learned more about RUFFS’ work to strengthen skills among suppliers to the green steel industry. The focus was on how the training programmes work in practice and how member companies can use them to meet new demands from industry.
The lunch provided both useful legal insights and a clearer understanding of how small and medium-sized businesses can prepare for the green transition.
